At Powers Electric (www.powers-electric.com), we strive to deliver your solar, battery, and electrical equipment safely and efficiently. Because many of our products are large, heavy, or fragile (e.g., solar panels, battery banks, inverters), we use a combination of carriers and freight services.
Order Processing Time
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation.
Custom or large-scale system orders (e.g., full solar + battery installations) may require additional processing time. We will notify you via email if your order requires more time.
Business days are Monday–Friday, excluding holidays.
Shipping Methods & Delivery Times
We ship primarily within the United States (continental U.S.). Shipping options vary by product weight, dimensions, and destination:
Small / Lightweight Items (e.g., wiring, breakers, small accessories): Shipped via UPS, FedEx, or USPS. Delivery in 3–7 business days.
Medium Items (e.g., inverters, charge controllers): Shipped via ground freight or expedited carriers. Delivery in 5–10 business days.
Large / Heavy / Palletized Items (e.g., solar panels, battery storage systems like EG4 or Simpliphi, concrete pads): Shipped via LTL freight carriers (e.g., freight lines with liftgate or delivery to curbside/driveway where accessible). Delivery typically 7–14 business days, depending on location and carrier scheduling.
Note: Actual delivery times depend on your location, carrier availability, and weather/road conditions. We provide tracking information once your order ships.
Shipping Costs
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, and destination.

Additional fees may apply for:
Residential delivery with liftgate.
Limited access or difficult-to-reach locations.
Expedited shipping (if available).
For very large orders, we may contact you for a custom freight quote.
Delivery Instructions & Responsibilities
Inspection Required: All freight shipments must be inspected for damage before the driver leaves. Note any visible damage on the delivery receipt and take photos. Contact us immediately at [your email/phone] if damage is found.
Delivery is typically to curbside or driveway. Inside delivery or special handling may incur extra fees.
Ensure your delivery address is accessible (no low branches, steep driveways, etc.). Provide clear instructions at checkout if needed.
We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect addresses or customer unavailability.
Shipping Restrictions
We currently ship only to the continental United States. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or international addresses at this time.
Hazardous materials or certain electrical components may have additional restrictions per carrier rules.
Some oversized items require a commercial address or special arrangements.
Lost, Damaged, or Delayed Shipments
If your order is lost or significantly delayed, contact us immediately. We will work with the carrier to resolve the issue.
For damaged items, file a claim with the carrier (with our support) and notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
Changes or Cancellations
You may request changes to your shipping address before your order ships. Contact us as soon as possible.
Once shipped, shipping costs are generally non-refundable.
